Last Thursday and Friday hotel Falkensteiner, Belgrade, was a place where regional telephony operators, cloud service providers, telco equipment and services distributors met and chatted. General conclusion everybody agreed on is that the VoIP industry is still expanding.
First Telecom had a series of meetings with the representatives from various regional companies. We shared experience, expectations and mutually beneficial business opportunities. We learned that the majority of the carriers plan to improve and expand their networks with softswitch, interconnection equipment, SS7 and Session Border Controllers. So the most common request we had were for our solutions for telephony carriers.
This specialized conference had a bit of a leisure attached to it since a lot of conversations were held outside over a cup of coffee. And, as it usually happens, there was a party at the end of the first day where participants enjoyed good music, food and drink.
