s205 and s705 – the latest Sangoma’s VoIP phones

Sangoma Phones S Series


s205 and s705 are two new models of s series VoIP phones from Sangoma.


If you observe the s series phones as a scale starting from the device with the fewest features, s205 is at its start and s705 at its end.


All the phones have common features like Zero Touch Provisioning, EndPoint manager, integration with phone apps, VPN client, multi-way conference calling, industry standard PoE, dual Ethernet ports, HD voice quality. They are designed to work with FreePBX.


The difference is in the number of SIP accounts and programmable keys, display, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.

Sangoma Phones Comparison


s205 is an entry-level IP phone that is designed for affordable deployments. It has one SIP account and 4 programmable keys. This phone is a good fit for users that do not require advanced features.


On the other end of the scale is s705, a phone made for the most demanding executives. It has 6 SIP accounts and 45 programmable soft keys and is the only Sangoma phone that supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
