In addition to being shockproof and highly resilient, Snom M85 handset has new features.
Integrated location sensors can be programmed to send an emergency message when an unusual position of an operator or when extended period of motionlessness when the handset is laid down are detected. This is a so-called dead man’s sensor.
Optionally, it can have a wrist loop attached to the phone which can trigger the alarm if it’s ripped from the handset.
The handset has a programmable alarm key that when pressed sends a message or an emergency call to any chosen number.
