After developing Stock Serializable, a Tryton module for tracking products by their serial numbers, we have become eligible for being listed as a company that not only supports Tryton community but also contributes Tryton with professional support. In other words, as the title says, we are now a Tryton contributor and are listed on their page.
How did we get there? It all started with an idea.
The idea for developing Stock Serializable came from the companies that have warehouses. They lacked the tool to track their stock and the current state of the products in question. That was the clear sign for us to help them with this issue and that is when this module was born.
Using Stock Serializable gives a company the following insights:
- the product flow from the supplier to the warehouse and to the end customers
- is the product sold by your company or someone else eliminating unfounded warranty requests
- when the specific product was sold and thus is it still subject to the company's support and warranty policies
Becoming a proud contributor is a great acknowledgment of our efforts. This is not the only reason we will not stop at this module, but it has put the wind in our sails. We have a lot of ideas that we are working on. Be sure to check our Tryton module page to see where we stand.
