For the complete British feeling we have to thank the weather. But the rain actually was in the favor of the demonstration part of our presentation. Our guests who came from companies from the energy industry, media organizations and government institutions were able to see that the rain didn’t affect the antenna performance.
His Excellency the ambassador Denis Keefe greeted the guests in a very good Serbian language and welcomed them to his beautiful home.

Mr. Nicolas Fabre, Sales Manager at Avanti, was in charge of the first part of the presentation. He introduced the guests to the brief history of Avanti Communications, their satellite fleet, geographical coverage and the technology behind it.
Mr. Fabre continued with showcasing the communication challenges that companies from the energy sector face, and the solutions that satellite Internet service offers. This service is ideal for SCADA, surveillance and control of the remote locations. Being highly customizable and flexible the satellite Internet can cover any size and type of business requirements at a very reasonable price.
Our guests from the media organizations had the opportunity to learn the broadcasting options satellite Internet provides. The story was followed by the live demonstration of the broadcasting using portable antenna, located in front of the Residence. And for the broadcasting, the high speed uplink is essential in order to use this service 24/7 from the most remote locations.

The next to hold the presentations was Mr. Petros Papadimitriou, CEO and founder of First Telecom. He was in charge of the first public appearance of the Communication Booster®, a device that multiplies the speed of data traffic. The booster uses various WAN interfaces (Ethernet, WiFi, 3G, 4G) and chooses the best option depending on their availability. Our guests witnessed its capabilities during live demonstration.
We are very happy with the positive feedback we received from our attendees.

We’d like to express our gratitude to the Ambassador and the brilliant team from the British Embassy for all the help in organizing and realization of the Satellite Internet Extravaganza. We must not forget Mr. Paul Richardson, International Sales Manager at Sematron (UK), for helping us in delivering this great experience.
